안녕하셨어요~ 너무 오랜만에 인사드립니다.
그간 건강하시고 행복하셨지요? 물론 힘들고 우울하고 짜증나는일, 자식이 드럽게 말안듣고 시부보님과의 고부갈등 등등...언제 어디서든 나오는 공통 토픽이지만요 그래도
이런게 인생이고..또 사는게 다 그런거겠지요?
그간 저는 바쁘게 일하고 열심히 살았지만 미씨에 들어와서 인사드리지는
못하고 게으름만 늘었네요. 그래도 항상 마음만은 다시 얼릉 인사다시드리자고
생각은 굴뚝같았네요..ㅎㅎ
그간 Friday wine club은 좀 뜸해지면서 아줌마들의 게으름증으로 인한
나가서 다 헤결? ㅎㅎ하면서 그럭저럭 지내다보니 몇년이란 시간이 이래 후딱
지나갔네요. 머리에 흰머리나는거 보고 서글퍼지지만 마음만은 아직도 이십대!!
올해 저는 결혼19주년은 맞이했습니다. (휴우~) 작년에는 18주년이라
대놓고 욕이라도 했는데요 말이죠.ㅋㅋ
그래도 여지껏 신랑이랑 지내온 시간들을 뒤돌아보며 울고,웃고, 지지고 볶고 싸우던
시간들이 이제는 다 추억으로 쌓이고 있네요.

처음마시는 와인이라 무조건 맛있더라구요. 달콤하니 제입에 딱^^ 부담없이 스윗하게
베리의 내음새를 오래느낄수 있었고 묵직한게 처음 코스에 맞게 좋았습니다.

첨와인보다는 색깔도 맑고 더 부드러서워 잘 넘어갔지만 첫 와인이 달아서 그런지 이와인은
맹맹~ 하게 물탄것마냥 ㅋㅋ 그냥 깨끗한 샤도네이 맛이었네요. 그래도 고급진!! 아마도 음식의 맛을 느낄수 있게 배려해주신듯 :)

저는 무조건 Cab은 다 좋아해서요. 양고기 맛을 더 살려주는거 같기도하고 아님 제 선입견때문인지 Cab은 어는 고기에는 다 잘어울리듯 와인의 맛을 깊고 길게 느껴지는그러맛?
묵직하니 색깔이 진하고 중후한 와인이였어요.

마지막으로 젤 비싼 와인이라고 알고 마셔서 그런지 맛있더이다~ ㅎㅎ
근데 솔직히 디저트와인이 나올줄 알았는데 ...아마도 이 가격으로 디져트와인을 같이
준비하는거 좀 무리였나봅니다.ㅋㅋ
그래도 와인이 더 무겁고 향이 좋아서 이와인에 매력에 빠지면서 제몸도 간만에 기분좋은
취함이였습니다.
와인설명과 라이브로 연주도 해주고 분위기 좋은 시간이였습니다.
기회가 되심 한번쯤은 가셔도 좋으실듯 하네요 :)

(이날 와인 설명해주시는 쏘무리에분꼐서 와인을 입에 넣은후 한번에 마시지말고
입을 벌려서 산소를 넣어서 입속에 와인과 석여마신다는 생각으로 해보고 마시라고
하시더라구요 ^^ 맛이 더 진해지고 다른 테이스트가 진짜 느껴지더라구요...
한번 미씨님꼐서도 해보시고 와인의 깊은 세계에 빠져보삼~)

Winemaker's Notes
The estate vineyard brings spicy peach, guava and grapefruit notes to the mix while the Rancho Chimiles Sauvignon grapes lend racy citrus, tropical fruit and mineral notes to the wine. Our long-time grower Terry Wilson farms Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Musque at Rancho Chimiles for this wine. The juice was fermented at cool temperatures in a mix of neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged on light lees for six and a half months, providing some roundness to the wine's texture.

Winemaker's Notes
This graceful Chardonnay opens with aromas of peach, yellow apple, spice and a pleasing sweet cream vanilla note. The wine has a soft entry with citrus and light honey notes that lead to a lingering sweet lemon finish. There is a nice balance to the acidity and minerality that enhances the freshness and elegance of this wine. Try pairing this medium-bodied Chardonnay with grilled whole fish with lemons and capers, seared scallops drizzled with lemon-infused olive oil, or roast chicken.

This Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon offers inviting aromas of black cherry and plum with hints of vanilla. On the palate, the wine has a soft entry with ripe mixed berry and plum flavors. The wine has a medium-bodied mouthfeel with round, satin-like tannins.
Enjoy this wine with grilled tri-tip, braised short ribs, or pasta with wild mushrooms and prosciutto.
