A GREAT ACT OF LOVE위대한 사랑의 행위
[ Romans 5:12 - 5:19 ] - hymn 294

Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

In Oregon’s Malheur National Forest, a fungus popularly known as the honey mushroom spreads through tree roots across 2,200 acres, making it the largest living organism ever found. It’s been “weaving its black shoestring filaments” through the forest for more than two millennia, killing trees as it grows. Its shoestring filaments, called “rhizomorphs,” tunnel as deep as ten feet into the soil. And although the organism is incredibly large, it began with a single microscopic spore!
The Bible tells us of a single act of disobedience that caused widespread condemnation and a single act of obedience that reversed it. The apostle Paul contrasted two individuals—Adam and Jesus (ROMANS 5:14󈝻). Adam’s sin brought condemnation and death “to all people” (V. 12). Through one act of disobedience, all people were made sinners and stood condemned before God (V. 17). But He had a means of dealing with humanity’s sin problem. Through the righteous act of Jesus on the cross, God provides eternal life and a right standing before Him. Christ’s act of love and obedience was powerful enough to overcome Adam’s one act of disobedience—providing “life for all people” (V. 18).
Through His death on the cross, Jesus offers eternal life to any- one who puts their faith in Him. If you haven’t received His forgiveness and salvation, may you do so today. If you’re already a believer, praise Him for what He’s done by His great act of love!

성경은 모든 사람을 죄에 이르게 한 한 번의 불순종과 그것을 뒤집은 한 번의 순종에 대해 알려줍니다. 바울 사도는 아담과 예수님, 두 인물을 대조하고 있습니다(로마서 5:14-15). 아담의 죄는 “모든 사람에게” 정죄와 죽음을 가져왔으며(12절), 한번의 불순종으로 모든 사람이 죄인이 되었고 하나님 앞에 정죄를 받았습니다(17절). 그러나 하나님에게는 인류의 죄의 문제를 다룰 방법이 있었습니다. 십자가 위에서의 예수님의 의로운 행위를 통해 하나님은 영생과 하나님 앞에 설 수 있는 자격을 주십니다. 아담의 한 번의 불순종의 행위를 이겨낼 만큼 충분히 강력한 그리스도의 사랑과 순종의 행위로 “많은 사람이 생명에 이르게” 되었습니다(18절).
예수님은 십자가에서 죽으심으로 주님을 믿는 누구에게나 영생을 주십니다. 만약 주님의 용서와 구원을 받지 못했다면 오늘 그렇게 하시기 바랍니다. 이미 믿고 있다면 주님의 위대한 사랑의 행위로 하신 일로 주님을 찬양하십시오!

12. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned --
13. for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
14. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.
15. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16. Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.
17. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18. Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.
19. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

아담과 예수님이 보여준 단 한번의 행위가 죄의 영향력에 대해 무엇을 말해줍니까? 예수님의 희생은 주님을 높이는 삶을 살고자 하는 당신의 바람에 어떻게 불을 붙이거나 새롭게 해줍니까?

하나님, 예수님을 통해 구원과 영생을 주셔서 감사합니다! 다른 사람들에게 하나님의 구원의 길을 나타낼 수 있도록 도와주소서!


12. ○그러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어오고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 들어왔나니 이와 같이 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로 사망이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라
13. 죄가 율법 있기 전에도 세상에 있었으나 율법이 없었을 때에는 죄를 죄로 여기지 아니하였느니라
14. 그러나 아담으로부터 모세까지 아담의 범죄와 같은 죄를 짓지 아니한 자들까지도 사망이 왕 노릇 하였나니 아담은 오실 자의 모형이라
15. 그러나 이 은사는 그 범죄와 같지 아니하니 곧 한 사람의 범죄를 인하여 많은 사람이 죽었은즉 더욱 하나님의 은혜와 또한 한 사람 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 말미암은 선물은 많은 사람에게 넘쳤느니라
16. 또 이 선물은 범죄한 한 사람으로 말미암은 것과 같지 아니하니 심판은 한 사람으로 말미암아 정죄에 이르렀으나 은사는 많은 범죄로 말미암아 의롭다 하심에 이름이니라
17. 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람을 통하여 왕 노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다
18. 그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른 것 같이 한 의로운 행위로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라
19. 한 사람이 순종하지 아니함으로 많은 사람이 죄인 된 것 같이 한 사람이 순종하심으로 많은 사람이 의인이 되리라
