When our lease begin, I told you that we would pay the rent in cash because it would be hard for me to go to the bank. However, I asked you if I could pay the rent in check due to COVID, you told me to keep my promise of paying in cash (AND WE DID CONTINUE TO PAY YOU IN CASH), even though there was nothing written in contract for me to pay the rent in cash.
When we had a problem with water pipes and caused a water leak, you told us that you will use the security deposit as the last month's rent as a gesture of apology. However, now you are saying otherwise. What is the reason for you to change your words? I wish that you keep your promise.
We are financially unstable at this point that if you don't use the deposit as the last month's rent, we have no money to use for moving out. We are moving out because of the high rent. I also do not understand why you yell and lose your temper when talking to us. We have treated you politely and with respect for the last 2 years.
It is also your problem that the rents are slow during the winter. We have carried out the two year lease contract and 3 month notice prior to move out was only your thoughts.
