Firstly, please rest assured that no student is ever denied lunch at our school. I want to clarify that I remember Amy clearly and the meals she has been provided. On the 16th, she received popcorn chicken and a fruit cup, and today she received chicken wings with a side of craisins. To ensure there was no misunderstanding, I asked Amy directly today if she received her lunch yesterday, and she confirmed that she had indeed eaten popcorn chicken.
I understand how concerning it must be to think that Amy might have missed a meal. To ensure this doesn't happen again, I'll be keeping an extra eye on her during lunchtime to make sure she's getting her food.
