INDICATION: Bilateral pelvic pain, right greater than left

COMPARISON: None

TECHNIQUE: Transabdominal and endovaginal images were obtained. Grayscale, color Doppler and pulse wave Doppler technique obtained in the longitudinal and transverse planes.

FINDINGS:
Uterus: The uterus measures 8.2 x 4.3 x 5.5 cm. It is of normal size and echotexture. No intrauterine mass is seen.

Endometrium: Dual layer endometrial thickness is 9 mm.

Ovaries: The right ovary measures 3.6 x 2.2 x 3.2 cm and the left ovary measures 3.3 x 2.4 x 2.7 cm. Within both ovaries are complex cysts with internal echoes, on the right measuring 2.2 x 1.3 x 1.9 cm and on the left entering 1.4 x 1.1 x 1.3 cm
