한 주가 또 후딱 가고 있네요.. 지난번 처음으로 여러분꼐 인사드리고 많은 격려의 댓글에 힘을 입어 오늘 있을 와인클럽의 내용을 여러분과 공유하기 위해 또다시! 수다 한번 떨어 보겠읍니다요 :)
오늘은 해피와인클럽을 자축? ^^* 하는 의미로 샴페인과 스파클링 와인에 대해서 알아보겠읍니다~
좀 지루한 면도 없지 않겠지만유...한번 재미나게 가보자구요!!!
What's the difference between a Brut, Champagne and Sparkling wine?
I do wine tastings at stores, events..etc well I did Domaine Ste Michelle Brut, and the back of the bottle says its a sparkling wine, but my promotional company tells me its a champagne. And then someone else was like no, this is Brut. Whats the difference between the 3???
Brut is dry.
Champagne can only be called champagne if it comes from certain regions in France.
Sparking wine is anything else that is like champagne, but not from those specified regions in France.

샴페인은 스파클링 와인의 한 종류입니다. 말그대로 브랜드이름인 샴페인이 고유명사화 되어
스파클링과 함꼐 쓰이고 있습니다.. 이건 어디까지나 프랑스 보르뉴 지방의 샴페인이 스파클링와인중
가장 유명해 졌기 때문입니다. 그래서 최근에 이지방 사람들이 다른 스파클링와인에 샴페인이라는 이름을
못쓰게 하는 소송을 벌였습니다.. 워낙에 유명해지다보니 거의 모든 스파클링와인에 '스파클링와인'이라는
표기대신에 '샴페인'이라는 표기를 했기 때문이죠.. 우리가 콜라를 코카콜라랑 같이 쓰는격이죠 엄연히 팹시가 존재하는데
말이죠 ~ 쉽게 말해서 탄산이들어있는 모든 와인은 스파클링 와인에 분류 샴페인은 그런 스파클링와인의 한 종류..

Sparking wine은 따를때 거품이 나는 와인을 말하는데요^^* 여러 나라에서 독특한 방식으로 만들고 있으며 그중 가장 유명한 것이 바로 Champagne이다. Champagne은 프랑스 샹빠뉴(Champagne) 지방에서 생산된 스파클링 와인의 영어식 표현으로 다른 지방이나 나라에서 만든 스파클링와인은 Champagne이란 표현은 사용할수 없다고 하네요!!! (??)
Champagne은 만들을떄 세가지의 포도를 사용한다고 하는데요, 적포도인 Pinot Noir와 Pinot Mennier, 청포도인 Chardonnay를 사용하고요. 샴페인의 맛의 Dry한것은 Brut, 매우 드라이 한것은 Extra Sec, 약간 단맛은 Demi Sec, 가장 달콤한 맛을 Doux라고 한답니다.
프랑스 알자스지방, 랑그독지방의 Crement(크레망), 스페인의 Cava(까바), 이태리의 Spumante(스프만테) 가 잘 알려진 스파클링 와인이라고 하네요.
이번 와인클럽에서는 스페인의Cava가 있네요! ^^*
