🔹️DHEA is a naturally occurring hormone, which converts into androgens (mainly testosterone) in females. It is essential in the production and development of healthy eggs. It is also commonly supplemented to increase fertility for certain women, particularly those with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR), or those with lower egg quality. 🥚

🔹️Patients should receive at least two months of DHEA supplementation prior to oocyte retrieval, however maximal DHEA effects increase over time, reaching peaks after approximately four to five months of supplementation.
