청소년을 위한 멘토와의 만남
1. 주최 : KowinOC (세계한민족 여성네트워크 미서부 오렌지카운티 지부)
2. 제목 : 청소년 멘토링 네트워크 워크샵
3. 대상 : 한인 중 고등 학생 및 대학생
4. 일시 : 2024 년 3 월 16 일 (토요일) 10am – 2:30pm
5. 장소 : 오렌지한인교회

6. 목적 : 청소년기에 필요한 조언과 격려를 주기 위하여 그들의 멘토가 될 수 있는 선배들, 즉
한인으로서 주류사회에서 활동하고 있는 전문인을 초대한다. 그리하여 그들과 소통하며 각 분야별 직업군의 특성을
인지하고 진로를 설정하는데 도움이 된다. 더불어 자아실현과 자기계발은 물론 경제적, 사회적 성공만이 아닌 인생의
진정한 가치도 발견할 수 있도록 돕는다.
8. 멘토 선정 기준 : 미 주류 사회 전문직에서 성공적으로 활동하는 한인 2, 3 세로서 한인의 정체성이 확고하며
한인 커뮤니티에 애정을 가지고 후배에게 도움을 주고 싶은 철학이 있는 사람을 선정했음.
9. 타임 스케쥴
9:30 – 10:00am : 접수
10:00 – 10:15am : 코윈 소개 및 행사 내용 안내
10:15 – 12:30am : 심포지움 형식으로 같은 직업군끼리 무대에 올라가 중에서 선정된 사회자의
진행에 따라 패널 토론으로 진행
12:30 – 1:30pm : 점심 식사
1:30 – 2:15pm : 각 직업별 교실 이동으로 청소년과의 Q&A 시간
2:15 - 2:30pm : 폐회
10. 회비 : 30 불 (점심 도시락, 음료수, 스낵 제공 경비)

Youth Mentoring Network Workshop
Date: March 16, 2024 (Saturday), 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (lunch provided)
Place: Orange Korean Church (643 W. Malvern Ave. Fullerton, CA. 92832)
Purpose:
As an opportunity for Korean-American teenagers residing in the United States to engage in
conversations and gather information from Korean-American professionals actively involved in
mainstream American society, the event provides a platform for experts to share their
experiences on how they studied and the paths they took to reach their current positions.
Additionally, it aims to assist teenagers in finding directions for their future careers. During the
seminar, mentors will address questions from the teenagers, offer guidance on career
directions, and introduce guidelines and preparation processes for their respective fields.
Content:
In collaboration with Korean-American professionals, the event will facilitate the exchange of
experiences, detailing the educational journeys and career paths that middle and high school
students can pursue to reach their current positions. Moreover, the seminar aims to guide youth
in shaping their future careers. The session will include a Q&A segment, providing an
opportunity for mentors to address youth queries, offer guidance on career directions, and
introduce guidelines and preparation processes relevant to their respective fields.
